Open source podcast player for Android with androidx.media3 - XilinJia/Podcini
I found this app while searching on github, thought some people here might be interested.
Uhhhhh....
31 0 ReplyWhere did you find that? They may be right if it's a closed fork, but if it's from something on GitHub i can't see how it violates GPL?
Edit: just scrolled a bit down and saw another comment, with the full image, nvm.

Don't know where that screenshot is taken from. Probably the App itself installed in some way, maybe the APK file through the github release?!

This is really cool, but why not upstream the changes instead of forking? Seems like a lost opportunity.
17 0 Reply8 0 ReplyThat's cool
5 0 ReplyIs it on fdroid?
2 0 ReplyIt just arrived in the IzzySoft "IzzyOnAndroid F-Droid Repo". So if you added that to your repositories, you can now install it with the F-Droid App. It's not in the main F-Droid repo, but AntennaPod is.
(Add extra repos with care.)

Does this also sync with nextcloud/gpoddersync?
2 0 ReplySync never worked for me in antennapod itself. Any tips?
1 0 ReplyI set up nextcloud via docker on a raspberry pi and installed gpodder sync there. That is working for me.

1 0 ReplyYes I understand that, but 'pretty much' is not 'entirely', so I am looking for confirmation.

Just tried it: I was able to connect to gpodder sync and sync my, subscriptions. Unfortunately, the data is not being parsed end I end op with a list of podcasts all titled 'Unknown podcast' with no episodes or any other data or information.
