They do, but Microsoft kinda shot themselves in the foot with gamepass. So even in America, the only place where it's sold not disastrously, no one's actually buying games.

That's what you do and that's fine, but if this becomes the norm then we lose our second hand discount market and the console companies will control the market and pricing completely.

I don't want to see that happen

Intentionally buying digital makes a lot of sense for games you might play on a whim.

But I'm going to be honest, if you're playing through a full campaign, that's just lazy. If I'm going to be playing a game for the next couple weeks or month, putting a disc in affects me negligibly.

Last time I checked most games were cheaper when bought physically in comparison to digitally.

so true, even in the US markets we never ran out of S's, Resellers would come in and explicitly state "do you have anything but the S" because everything else was super looked for but it seemed you couldn't give those S's away lol
