A new grand jury being seated this week in Atlanta will likely consider whether criminal charges are appropriate for former President Donald Trump or his allies for their efforts to overturn his 2020 election loss in Georgia.
It just seems that, at some point, someone will just refuse to convict Trump. Maybe it won't, and the system will win. Which would be a good result for how serious peoples convictions are.
He knows he could go very likely go jail. That’s why he is trying to hard to become president even though he lost badly to the same person last time. His best chance is pardon power and insulation from state authorities while in office, and he knows it.
The last thread of justice is on the ballot. And probably a couple more Supreme Court picks in an already lopsided batshit court.
