2 0 ReplyYes, this is an invitation to join our jolly crew! Sail the High Seas!
10 0 ReplyEmail required? I don’t think so…
0 0 ReplyYou don't have to be logged into that instance to join it though... That's the whole point of being federated.
4 0 ReplyLol you can join the community from another instance. If you're talking about joining the instance, I just used a temp email and explained that in the application. Honestly it's just to fend off bots.

Going to shamelessly invite you to DnD
5 0 ReplyYou need to specify the instance it's created on
5 0 ReplyYup, best to do it like !communityname@instance.whatever because /c/whatever is Reddit language, and you don’t know what instance it’s on if you use /c/, so you can’t go to that community.
2 0 Replyfixed it with a link, was on mobile

5 0 Replyyour link seems broken (brings people to lemiverse.net), guess you put in the link and accidantally only fixed the visual part. https://lemmyverse.net

1 0 Replylemmyverse.net is helpful for finding new communities.
1 0 ReplyI created communities (today in fact!) that use the data from Lemmyverse to list "trending communities" (measured by subscriber growth).
They're bot-driven, so they'll be a new post every day (assuming my l33t coding skills don't let me down)
