This is what the Bloc and Conservatives took offense to.
Fergus paid tribute to former Ontario Liberal interim leader John Fraser. The video was recorded in the Speaker's office while Fergus was wearing his Speaker's robes.
I want to take the opportunity to say that the Bloc is the most significant embodiment of the perversion of democracy in Canada. For anyone who doesn't know in the 2021 elections NDP had 17.82% of the overall votes and came out with 7.4% of the seats while Bloc had 7.64% overall and 9.47% of the seats.

I don't know why you see a link between those two things? One is an issue with the electoral system, the other is a disrespect for the role of speaker.
Why do you say the Bloc is the most significant embodiment of the perversion of our electoral system when their results vs seats were pretty close (the closest of all parties in fact) vs the Liberals with 32% of the vote and 47% of the seats... Is it possible that you're just biased against the Bloc?

Yeah so that's why people should read the article instead of your biased opinion. These so called "French-conservatives" vote with the Liberals for the most part and don't want to see the conservatives in power as they know it will be bad for Quebec.
