So many kids want to become influencers nowadays. Boomers be like 'uuuh that's not a real jerb' but who can blame the kids? It's todays equivalent of wanting to become an actor or rock star or whatever.
I tell my daughter to have a conventional education and job as a backup plan. And I'll make sure to show her all the harassment and creepy shit public internet people have to deal with. Just so she knows what she is getting into.
This reminds me of what happened to YouTuber Kallmekris. Perhaps show your daughter this video Kris made about her experience with stalkers and peeping toms and major mental health struggles despite outwardly being a happy and popular YouTuber.
