De la France? Maybe the driver is from France. Was it perhaps a Renault or Citroen?

I read it as DLA Farce (DLA = disabled living allowance, the pittance we expect disabled people to live off). Seems too niche to be likely!
It's a word, as in "Good Morning, that's a nice Dlafrce."
