Great photo! How did you spot it?
Another birder pointed it out to me. We were heading back to our van after not seeing much beyond the usual suspects and this man says to us "Did you see the Barred Owl?" He showed us where it was and wasn't the least bit worried about me as I took its picture.
That was nice of him! I'm glad the owl was in a friendly mood for you! Thanks for sharing the picture too, it's a nice surprise when I see someone new post.
