Me in math lecture

Computer Science for me, which was my major. But the class was just a little too warm, had natural light drifting through stained glass, was in an echoey auditorium and at 3pm, when the sleepies hit. God help me I tried everything to stay awake except caffeine, because I was a stupid child.
- No amount of caffeine will save you from afternoon sleepies in the wrong class
  In my case it was a grad level course They let me in as an undergrad because I was smart and motivated Only half a dozen students Giant mug of coffee

  The shame of dozing off in his class still pains me decades later I AM SORRY
- I still haven't started drinking coffee, 35+ years old. I feel tired all the time but that's what two kids do to you.
  I'm just happy I don't have to depend on any substance to keep me normal.
- You majored in computer science but found the subject boring? I never understood this.
  I recall back in school a girl asking me when signing up for classes for next quarter, which classes required the least amount of writing code. I guess those people go into management.
That's the wrong class to sleep through. I was always good at math (I minored in it), but having to go back and teach myself was always super difficult.
- It was 10:00, I was a freshman, and yes it would have made my life a lot easier.
