A hypothetical scenario
If you had the power to implement any social/economical order in the US today, what would that order be and how would you implement it (step by step) - elaborate (characters of peoople in charge of important roles in society, political order, flag change, national goals, foreign policy, etc.). It can be a mash of political/social orders, doesn't have to be a particular one, you can call it whatever you like. The same goes for the rest of the social roles and political order, doesn't have to be written in books, it can be a mash of whatever you think is right for the particular scenario.
Native Americans and Mexico would get a hell of a lot territory
Why Mexico, they also killed native americans (as far as I know).
First thing that would need to be done would be to set up a socialist government modelled on existing socialist states. Next, the government would expropriate private wealth from the billionaires. All private banks would be abolished and replaced with a publicly owned central bank.
With that in place, all private enterprise would be required to be cooperatively owned, and VC funding would be replaced by the central bank. People who would want to start businesses would be required to submit a proposal to the central bank in order to get initial loans or grants.
Finally, all the things that are common concerns and should be done without a profit motive would be handled by state owned enterprise. In particular this would include like infrastructure, healthcare, education, food, and energy production.
State industry would also be used to provide job guarantee and set the bar for things like employment benefits. Anybody who wants a job would be guaranteed a job in public sector.
What about social labor, we used to have that back in Yugoslavia, it was a nice way to meet people, plus the food was good and it was also paid in some cases (not much, but enough to cover expenses as a student - education was free back then, so don't compare to how much uni is worth now in the US).
Yeah, that's a really good concept as well. I think it would be cool to also make production facilities available to people on time sharing basis. So, if a bunch of people wanted to make a project they could get access to manufacturing, computer resources, etc. Imagine how much innovation could happen if people could use state resources to do large scale hobby projects.
Fully automated communism would be the goal. But steps to get there: (not super ordered)
- Redirect huge chunks of military funding to lift people out of poverty, provide healthcare, etc
- Rapidly phase out all fossil fuel subsidies, replace them with incentives for green energy, infrastructure like trains, bridges, etc
- Aggressive taxes on the wealthiest, to the point being a billionaire is impossible if not illegal. Redistribute this wealth to the masses
- Invest much more in science, focusing on ways to better balance our existence with nature
- Bring copyright back to its original 20 years, or better yet get rid of it entirely.
- Have any government software be open source and copy left. All public schools should also be using open source software to teach children so they have a better appreciation for it
- Convert many of our foreign military bases into centers to give back to the local communities, either with information or goods. If the country doesn’t want us, move out
- Move to some other form of voting. I’d say mixed party proportional for representatives in congress, ranked choice or star voting for president. Get rid of the senate or change how its members are elected.
- Heavily incentivise unions, at all levels. Local branches in each company, company wide, profession wide. Heavily punish union busting.
- Have elected workers on the board of each company, with equal or greater voting power than investors
- End single family zoning, make housing a right, start building dense housing in over priced cities
- End large corporate lobbying, have representatives paid based on how their constituents are doing
I’d want people in power who actually care about their constituents. Their incentives should be to help people, not pad their pockets
You do realize that if all this is implemented, this will make the US more like Sweeden, i.e. the US will no longer be a superpower.

EDIT: I like how you approach the issue though, well though of. Just have some other questions.
And what are your thoughts on leadership grooming of children... if the child has the right potential of course. This idea goes back to how tribes chose and educated their leaders (shamans). Basicaly, you embed emotinal connection to the people when they're still young. That and other things as well (moral values, deep seeded sense or right and wrong, empathy, etc.).
I’m for reasonable gun control. Waiting periods, no fully automatic weapons. And the US is on the decline from being a superpower now. I don’t need or want America to be the world police. The world should have more partnerships, treaties, and such, and less superpowers dominating the landscape.
I don’t think we should be grooming children for leadership, I think leaders will emerge naturally as people grow and develop. We should be giving children resources to be their best selves with free education, housing, and food. People can elect those who feel best represent them and their interests. I’m a moral relativist, mores and values shift constantly and it is hard to predict what would be best with future technologies and societies.

That's easy, fixing what was f*cked up for at least 150 years, that's the hard part.
Disband the military, bolster the communist parties, forcefully remove reactionary elements from government, destroy the entire nuclear arsenal. Hopefully more knowledgeable communists will take it from there.
I'd just reduce the legal workday limit to 6 or possibly 4 hours but make paid overtime bureaucratically accessible to small companies that still require their workers at 8. I think a lot more people would have a time to get educated about their own material conditions if they actually had the time to read about it. Not foolproof as that is susceptible to gig economy fucking it up but that's a start I guess.
Another idea would be to just break up all the media conglomerates within the united states as all these branches of Paramount or WBD just talking to each other on full broadcast like they're different people is really harmful to how Unitedstadians see the world. Add in book publishers too as they've also been doing some nasty work of getting the rights to old historical books in foreign languages and horribly mistranslating it, and their whole business model is that of book landlords.
But honestly I think the USA as a state just needs to go at this point.
As in not exist any more as a federation? The states should exist, just not within a federation?
They really really need a Congress of the Soviets or National Convention moment to work out all the contradictions of their societies unconstrained by their current systems and protocols. It really is up to them and I wouldn't hold my breath for anything of value coming out of there, but there's only so much you can do within the bounds of a glacial congress and senate working with a constitution written by people who didn't think killing slave owners or genocidal latifundiarios was a moral obligation.
But I didn't consider in the other suggestion that it could also be for the betterment of societies that actually have any hope of becoming better, so I'd also change their entire foreign policy into "mind your own business gringo" and abolish the OAS, and that'd immediately make the lives throughout the American continent much better.
