Listen In on the Distinctive Voices of Owls

This link was in the email newsletter I get from Cornell Lab. I thought people here might appreciate it. You’ve seen what these owls look like, now hear what they sound like! You may even have heard them and not known it was an owl.
It's a nice assortment of calls, but I still think it's cruel of them putting the Barn Owl first without anything to indicate what your volume is set to first! 😮
It railed me too! But I'm so glad I gave this a click. As I instantly recognized that chilling call I heard a few weeks ago and had no idea what it was. Now I know and can't wait to hear/ listen for more
I love hearing owls when I'm out and about. I regularly hear a Great Horn where we go to the beach, and even when we went to Brooklyn this year, we were out walking in the morning and I heard one there as well. Owls are everywhere!
Haha, like a jump scare! Some of these I would never have guessed were owls.
I keep thinking about doing a thing where you guys would blind vote on different hoots to pick a Top Owl Sound or some such, but still debating how and when to do it. They're so many great ones and the sound doesn't always match the owl.
