I think that bear is domesticating your dog
Your "idiot" goodboi is smarter than you think. Maybe you need to start giving him steaks on the mornings the trash is intact.
Before the photos registered in my mind I thought it meant his human son is a furry that is expected to fuck intruders away somehow
If my horny little floofball goes for your leg, you'll be running sooner or later. At first it's annoying, but it becomes psychological terror.
I'm picturing a 20-30s guy in a quadruped fursuit chasing people now...
why would a bear with access to a dear deer, or at least its leg, be interested in someone's trash? i am not bearologist, but i would think that "dear deer > trash". is it at all possible someone on the internet is lying?
They don’t typically eat deer. They catch salmon, and forage for food like berries. Also, deer bone in the picture certainly wasn’t fresh.
They are constantly attracted to smelly human food and food waste. They absolutely forage through the trash whenever given the opportunity.
They get deer all the time, maybe he's sick of bones. But this dumpster is like a loot box for food, it could be anything!
My first thought was someone had a human child that was a furry with one job.
I wouldn't be comfortable leaving my dog outside at night in a place where bears roam
We used to go rough camping every weekend in summer. The 2 dogs would take off as soon as we stopped at the camp spot, mark the area and eventually come back, they were never tied out there. We never saw signs or even heard bears (they can be quite stealthy) dogs presence is a great deterrent. Glad the bears were not this smart or all our food (left on the ground) would have vanished
I feel like going camping with your dogs where there aren’t bears is a little bit different than leaving your dog outside overnight where there is, in fact, a bear.
