RBR sending Perez out again is some passive-aggressiveness at this point.
20 0 ReplyI wonder if we can vote for Perez as the clown of the day.
16 0 ReplyWho else would be up for that? I can't think of anyone else who'd get remotely close.
3 0 ReplyLogan? I think checo takes the crown today for sure
2 0 Reply
Wew what's Perez up to today. Gonna pick up penalties like Infinity Stones.
16 0 ReplyDude feels the pressure so much that he's driving himself out of a RB seat.
6 0 ReplyAh, the Bottas special
3 0 Reply
What is even goin on with Perez today. Clumsy start resulting in early pit stop to drop to back of grid. Picking more penalties on the way. Retired. And now comes back and retires again after one lap.
15 0 ReplyYea, what an absolutely shocking clusterfuck.
Checo is quick, and when heโs on heโs on, but these lows are not the right look.
3 0 ReplyReminds me of Bottas' last phase at Merc, where he also went from leading the championship at the start of the year to appearing absolutely unfit for F1 at the end.
2 0 ReplyIt's his Mexican blood!

Lando: "It's the Max podcast"
Max: "I don''t even like podcasts!"14 0 ReplyThe honeymoon at Aston is over
14 0 ReplyBrutal. Alonso is gonna explode soon.
2 0 Reply
Carlos is radio gold
13 0 ReplyWhat the hell? How can be unretiring a car to serve a penalty, then retire it again be in the rules?
11 0 ReplyBecause there is no definition of "retiring" in the rulebook. Which should have been on their radar years ago, you see it regularly how cars pull into the pits and the official tracking keeps showing them as "in the race" and not "retired".
7 0 ReplyIf it is not banned...
3 0 ReplyThey did a pitstop and served the 5 seconds and then retired the car. This is why he was out there for 2 laps
3 0 ReplyI just did a cursory search on the FIA's 2023 Sporting Regulations, and I couldn't find anything about the procedures through which drivers serve penalties, so...
2 0 ReplyIt was 25 the last time they counted
1 0 Reply
Fucking hell Perez. That's not how you keep your seat.
9 0 ReplyNgl....that's a high IQ move by Red Bull
8 0 ReplyI kinda doubt it'll work out the way they want, the other teams definitely will have words. And if it works out that will be a change in regulations.
8 0 ReplyIf it requires a change in regs, won't matter because the strategy will have worked when used.
8 0 Reply
Itโs so bizarre not having both RBs on the podium at the race that they win WCC
8 0 ReplyLol Checo
7 0 ReplyAgreed with Jolyon. That was brutal. Not sure I agree with the FIA.
5 0 ReplyThe just showed a clip of the actual infringement - into the pits, overtaking Alonso.
3 0 Reply
Man what is Perez doing anymore
6 0 ReplyHe wants to play bumper cars or something!
3 0 ReplyHe's been playing too much Wreckfest during the week.

Sargeant penalised for new car after Q1 crash https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/article.official-grid-who-starts-where-in-japan-as-sargeant-is-penalised-for-new-car.X4qn5ydpjjHBscTrUrMwn.html
the damage to his Williams was such that the team have had to build up what the stewards consider a new car for him. [...] it means the American rookie not only has to start from the pit lane, but also receives a 10-second time penalty.
But Will Buxton on pre-race stream said that Williams got penalized for starting work on his car too early?
EDIT: He did tweet this out: https://x.com/wbuxtonofficial/status/1705774169374257291 (Nitter link) so maybe I misheard or something.
6 0 ReplyEither way, hopefully Sargeant's done in F1 after this race. He's basically the reincarnation of Nicolas Latifi.
6 0 Reply
Wow. More than a few DNFs today.
Edit: Williams out, plus Stroll, Pรฉrez, Bottas.
5 0 ReplyMax back with a rawwr
4 0 ReplyGeorgy got screwed
4 0 ReplyHe screwed himself with that terrible exit out of the chicane.
2 0 Reply
What a move by Charles
4 0 ReplyQuarter of the grid out. Damn.
3 0 ReplyThe return of the king
3 0 ReplyPerez +6 Laps? I don't think that's right... That was way more than 6 laps.
3 0 Reply6 laps to stroll
12 0 ReplyI wonder if thatโs a record for most laps down
2 0 Reply
Perez is having a terrible day, beating a dead horse that is
3 0 ReplyA bit of a wheel banging start... SC already...
3 0 ReplySmoooooooooth operator.
Will he be able to overtake Hamilton in time?
2 0 ReplySadly no :(
2 0 Reply
Damn. At this rate, Merc might have a shot at first in the WCC.
2 0 ReplyWith the rear end struggles drivers were having around the last turn paired with high tire deg, I expect at least one safety car. Could be a fun watch.
2 0 ReplyYeah, and a two stopper, especially with the higher-than-normal temperature. Max will likely walk away with it but the rest of the podium is up for grabs. Hoping Oscar can stand on it!
4 0 ReplyWith Max only having a single set of hards available, I wonder if he starts the race on hards, then goes to mediums to finish the race.
1 0 Reply
Inb4 we don't have a safety car because Sargeant annihilates the entire field
1 0 Reply
HAHAHAHA who the fuck called a safety care on lap one?
2 0 ReplyPlenty of debris on track. Seems reasonable to me.
5 0 ReplyNo I mean someone predicted it in the pre-race.
5 0 Reply
Wat?
2 0 ReplyWilliams with a comedy of errors today. What a shitshow from them.
1 0 ReplyBusiness as usual
1 0 ReplyI wonder when Max is going to pit. He's made those mediums last quite a while.
1 0 ReplyHamilton has buckets of understeer
1 0 ReplyWhat a start from Alonso, that softs is burning the track.
1 0 ReplyDoes anyone else always think Oscar looks super nervous? ๐
1 0 ReplyLol
