I hope they are an OEM with global reach, or at least my region, hihi. The exclusivity to certain region will limit how popular they get or it's going to end up like fairphone. Expensive and very limited markets to drive down costs.

Not fairphone. Not OnePlus. It'd be nice if it were Sony. My xperias were some of my favorite phones.

Does what brand they end up with really matter? The phone is going to meet the specs regardless..
Yes, mainly because of price.
But GOS has already said its going to be a flagship phone that is around the same price point as the pixel...
