AI “Friend”??, more like a survailance device you wear.

friend.com I’m sorry but I don’t think anyone is idiot enough to wear a device that is always listening to you and talking to you pretending to be your friend. This is a disaster waiting to happen. If social media was killing mental health, imagine what this will do.

I hate to disappoint you, but there are plenty of idiots that would lap this up.
- I feel like It’d be mostly clueless kids, because a lot people who don’t understand the psychological risks are probably still scared of AI and don’t want it in their lives. (At least in my experience.)
  
  I hate to disappoint you, but there are a lot of clueless adults who lap up all kinds of surveillance tech.
I feel like this is just illegal in states that require two party consent for recording, but I'm not a lawyer.
It's also just generally a bad idea and everyone involved in making it should be barred from working in technology.
If it's not your hardware, it's not your friend.
I would rather run my own model on my own hardware than use someone else's cloud
