Didn't read, because:
The last time when I looked, ebikes were really, really bad at going down the stairs.
Now, since this is exactly my way to work every morning, I know that an ebike won't help.
At all :)

E-scooter might be the answer. When folded, I can one hand carry it up and down stairs. Just don't get one that's 80lbs 😂

Yeah, like EVs, they're not really good for apartments unless you have just the right setup (storage downstairs with power, etc). And this is something that people who think both are the answer to everything need to consider.

My Portola goes down stairs no problem, up is a bit more challenging.
You could always get a folding bicycle though, I just grab mine and walk up/down stairs normally

Before they started rolling back mask mandates, it was for me. I even got a foldable one so I could put it under my desk, at work.
That's what I do with my bicycle, it's great!
