Two Venezuelan fighter jets fly over US warship in ‘show of force’

If my history serves me correct ..... America is about to tell everyone that Venezuela fired first or attacked them in some way and killed American service men ... and now the US has no choice but to defend itself -> by attacking and invading the country.
- …only to lose the subsequent war 10 years down the road but never admit they lost because they only withdrew their army since the country is safe again (AKA they already taken as much oil as they possibly can so they are no longer interested in waging a war).

  Too long that poor oil has been held down, segregated, just because it is heavy crude with a high sulfur content It suffers rampant bigotry.
- We would not invade, they would blow shit up, blow up their infrastructure, bomb them. Even they are not stupid enough to do an invasion at this point in time.
  What they would do is try to seduce a faction of the army to initiate a coup, maybe in that case we might contribute some troops to a specific action to help. I don't think these guys are capable enough to pull that off though.

The force is not large enough to invade Venezuela. This is more of a force you position if you want to do some larger scale regime change operation. You know some mercenaries combined with Venezuelans who hate the government. Remove Maduro and US puppet. The flyover is meant as as sign that the Venezuelan military is behind Maduro.
Also just to say it, this can backfire badly. Venezula has a shit ton of gangs, is a massive country and to a large part covered in rainforest. Not a good combination.

Central and South America nations need the nuclear bomb yesterday. I'm dead ass serious. So does every African nations. Western nations are testing the waters for a middle east style take over. As we continue down this self destructive process it's a matter of when, not if. Having the bomb is the only way to get true self determination in today's world.

- I'm not so hopeful. Venezuela has been looking to attack their neighbor, and if there's one thing empires hate, it's rival imperial interests in their "stomping grounds." There's no good reason why Trump wouldn't want to bully them from afar as a show of strength, considering he's attacked far more dangerous countries in the middle east for that same reason. He probably wouldn't invade because he thinks forever wars are a bad idea(he's correct), which would eliminate the guerilla tactics Venezuela could pull against him. It'd be a bombing campaign that Venezuela couldn't do much against; an easy military "victory" with low short term stakes for Trump.
