"Industrial Genocide and German Tech" is not the headline I wanted to read today.
It's better than nothing.
- It‘s not, because it‘s nothing more than a lie to calm down public sentiment. In effect, nothing changes. It‘s worse than nothing.
  
  Nope, it breaks even just as a gesture the idea that Germany has to support Israel no matter what. That has been the position of a lot of German politicans, especially from the conservative party of which Merz is a member. That pretty much gurantees that if/when Israel gets convicted of genocide, that that relationship is dead.
- But far from the international law obligations Germany has and thereby making the German government and the relevant companies complicit in crimes and subject to international prosecution as the German justice system refuses to properly prosecute the suspects.
- It's whitewash than nothing.
