Did you ever have one of those dreams where you wake up and you're disoriented because if how real the dream was?

Such an odd feeling.

Yes, nothing like being annoyed at somebody about something they didn't do!
Happens every so often. Takes me a good 10-15 minutes to come to terms with reality.

Ha ha I posted this in yesterday's thread, and didn't realise for four hours 😂😂😂

Mickey's vaccination went well, uneventful. I got some dental treats for him as well, as his teeth are a bit yellow.

He's also 5.95kg, and NOT overweight or fat. The vet looked at him and was like "he's just massive for a DSH" 😂

My LittleOne sends massive hugs, and should prefer to not have weight discussions

This was my day yesterday. We left here about 9am. We get into Kyneton and head for the bakery. Get something to eat and ordered a coffee.

We drove around for about 10 mins before I said "The next covered park bench, gazebo, whatever you need to let me out. I need to stretch". There was nothing like that, so I said "I don't care let me out here on the street".

First thing I spot is the post office boxes. Beautiful, there's shelter. So I loiter around there watching the rain piss down, had a smoke looking like a leper.

I then noticed the pub across the road. Walk there. Fuck, it's closed.

Next I start walking around. It's cold, wet, windy. I've got a coat and beanie on and I'm fucking freezing. I spot the Reject shop. Go in there. Do a little shop. Come out.

I'm standing on the corner with me shopping bag and when they went passed commented to each other "Oh look at that poor old homeless lady".

I'm thinking "I know there's a library, I'll find a dry spot somewhere and look it up". That's when I spotted the 2nd pub. And it's open. I go in, it's warm, there's a fireplace, tv and I didn't give the library anymore thought. Hallefuckinglujah.

I order a beer and texted my husband "I'm at the Kyneton hotel". He texted back "That doesn't surprise me. Well be there soon".

They arrive. I announced "I don't care what youse do next but I ain't leaving here until it's time to go to the RTA". I order another.

We left there about 1:30 pm. It was a very long cold day but for a brief hour an a half I found solace.

Absolutely nobody just bought two grand of candles

Exciting achievement for today: I finally figured out how to turn on the fog lights in the van 🤣.

Two other things this old phone has I forgot about was the notification light and the taskbar actually tells you how much battery is left in a bluetooth device. I can't believe how much we've lost in phones in a few short years. And it still has a headphone jack too.

I had a curry scallop pie from Australia's best bakery yesterday and it was heaven. I'm still thinking about it.

I've been locked out of my work Facebook account. Facebook tells me to refresh the page this morning then locks me out for suspicious activity? This whole thing was your idea.

Now it wants a video selfie, but the work profile just has a stock image as the profile picture. I've been able to satisfy the prompts with an AI image to 3D model program. Now to see if it lets me back in.

Such a terrible program. How does anyone keep using that site?

- They tried to pull that shit on me for an old personal instagram account and I let it slide. I got an email a while ago being like 'It's not too late to recover your account'. That was their decision, they're the ones that locked me out.

Gym, food shop, job applications and music practice for band rehearsal tomorrow night.

It’s been an unstructured week due to several poorly timed commitments but that’s ok. My timetable is ready to go for Friday and the following weeks.

And I returned the overpayment from old job of a months salary.

Also, I had a dream that I was abandoned by friends because I couldn't climb down a wall, so clearly I'm in some kinda headspace.

Good news: the cafe near me looks like they're doing my favourite sandwich today and I conveniently forgot to bring my lunch.

One of the things I really love about my work is the sheer commitment to whimsy (not in a tacky way, in a 'people are safe to express themselves in memes and jokes; or not') It makes ALL the difference
- Had a few workmates like that in my previous gig.
  Don't 'miss' them per se, but appreciate them more when they we're around.
  Current bunch are just way too serious.
  Could be my team. I see others smiling and chatting. Our dark corner is dour faces and misery it seems

I managed to get a charger for this old Telstra locked android, the next step is to install Revanced (if it still exists), Newpipe, and Invidious. Hopefully one of them works and stays up.

I should have already done all this much sooner but have been struggling with everything.

A lot has been going on for me resulting in debilitating fatigue and anxiety, so it’s an ongoing process.

A roasted sweet potato hollowed out and stuffed with a extra creamy Cesar salad please (this is my business idea, we'll use the hollowed out bits to make sweet potato pie and also mash as sides. They'll call me the sweet potato man and I'll be rich).

Do you think using a friend to help with providing some services I need for my business is a bad idea? On the plus side, we worked together for many years (and still friends after both leaving) and I know they're good at what they do. I also don't have to go searching for another provider, which is a drainer as it always takes me a long time to land on someone. On the possible negative side, I don't want any feedback / input on their work (its design-related stuff) to impact our friendship - I would probably be more reluctant to give this compared to using someone I don't know personally. I don't think the negative part will come to light but you never know.

Discuss these concerns with them, maybe they can recommend someone.
Especially since it's design stuff, if you can give more detail on the brief and what's expected that should help remove any tension.
If you're both just trying to achieve a goal then the feedback is fine. If you're trying to figure things out or leave too much up to them, the feedback could then feel like you're critiquing their skills as a designer.

I wish I lived somewhere with a shed to keep hobby junk.

Perhaps I can carve out some space and set up an area in the house but I still would be very cautious about using solvents or sewing pins around furbaby
