Bear totem barbarian bbegs are the bane of every party. Fireball? So that's 26 damage.... Halved.

Resistance doesn't stack, so it's only halved once.
With the right eldrich blast build who needs spell
slots.
Booming blade can get nasty too, but requires a lot more work for spacing/movement.

Warlock 2/ Sorcerer X needs spellslots to fuel quicken spell metamagic (for more eldritch blast)

Depends on what the casters have. Stand at the edge of a tall cliff or other height. Contingent action cast Dimension Door. Barb takes the fall, you appear where he was standing last round.
