Official Posters for Guillermo del Toro’s ‘Frankenstein’

I hadn't heard he was directing a Frankenstein, but he sounds like the perfect director to tackle that story. I'm excited to see this.
Already looks more connected to the book than anything that's ever been out before.
These looks like covers for some AAA action game with a higher budget for marketing than programming.
- It looks like a Lies of P sequel moving to the Frankenstein lore.

  Maybe you could be the monster and swap out parts from defeated enemies?

Everything the guy does is almost good.
- Del Toro has a sublime visual sense, but... yeah, his movies usually leave me cold. Not much of a storyteller, IMO. Pan's Labyrinth was an exception, though, and I'm hopeful that the strength of the material he's adapting here helps pull it across the finish line.

I am really excited for this but a bit sad it releases in november. It would fit a ton better in october during halloween.
"only in select theaters"? Really? A Del Toro movie?
- Probably "enough theaters that we can get academy awards from it". If it does gangbusters they may throw it in more theaters, but it being a Netflix produced feature, their focus will be on their streaming platform.
If anyone can do it justice, it's him
I watched "Frankenhooker" last week. I don't think they can beat this.
