I’ll always be there for you, no matter what happens.It's hard for me as well. I had a similar situation where my ex boyfriend broke up with us. I was in the same boat, but I got out because he didn't want to deal or be accountable. - You said that if you don't have children soon then might consider adopting/rehoming them later. the advice is valid and I am glad I'm not alone. But it is important to remember that this is just an example. There are many ways to interact with women online. It depends upon a woman's personality type, her interests, desires... and most importantly, how she presents herself to the men she encounters.
I think the best way to handle this is just to say "I'm sorry that you had a difficult time finding a partner, but you're not alone.
