I think anyone with working braincells that assists trump on these public appearances has given up long ago on the "teach him the dos and don'ts" because, let's be honest, his supporters are either too stupid or too evil to understand the implications of taco being a wannabe dictator. Besides, what's anyone going to do? Impeach him?

As shown in practice by specimens like Gaddafi - dictators are often only "smart" for first ten years tops. After initial period of cementing one's power and purging opposition from... well, everywhere... clock starts ticking towards inevitable yesmen-enabled descent into delusion. Trump did a speedrun here though - not yet a dictator, but already delusional to no end.
