Yeah just like how he planned to go to mars within his lifetime or planned to get that hyperloop scam working within the decade, or self driving cars, or whatever other obvious and blatant lie to get taxpayer money funneled to him because he is a leech
I'm with most here in that I have little warm feelings towards Musk, but I'm curious about the subterfuge here? Isn't he just essentially opening the door to selling preexisting products directly? Specifically the solar roof shingles and the powerwall. Both of which are already available in the UK via third parties.
It seems like Tesla has already been doing some work in the UK with Octopus. I'm also curious as to what the subterfuge is, but I won't touch anything Musk is involved in with a ten-foot bargepole if I can help it.
I'm not naïve enough to believe there's no subterfuge going on, and a man who openly supports Tommy Robinson (AKA Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon) has absolutely no business being anywhere near any important infrastructure, in my opinion.
It could be things like killing opposition like the hyperloop killed high speed trains in benefit for cars.
