> “Bluesky is called a decentralized network and uses the term federation. The problem is that their technology, from the point of view of power dynamics, is not decentralized at all,” emphasizes Christine Lemmer-Webber, an expert on decentralized social protocols. “The use of some decentralisation techniques, but the decentralized service itself is not today. There is one big company that controls the flow of information, and without which this network cannot operate at the moment.” > > This does not mean that moving from X/Twitter to Bluesky is a bad idea. “I appreciate that Bluesky wants to build a service that can quickly fully replace Twitter. But I don’t think they should claim that this service is decentralized and instead focus on the date of a “trustworthy way”.

Now it makes sense.
If people were to move from ml or support a mirror, I would recommend !jellyfin@poweruser.forum . But moving to world is a terrible idea. Not because of bad admins, moderators or anything similar, but because centralisation is bad.
I think it's important to remember that there's no karma here. Post what you're interested in and willing to engage in discussion about as a rule of thumb. Also try and stay away from announcements, like "Brand X announces they'll come out with Car 2000 in 2026 as there's generally very little info or anything to talk about. There are of course exceptions, but I'm just talking general rule of thumb. If there's a BYD enthusiast, they'll of course post it, but it's fine, because they'll reply to every comment. The key is to let your posts reflect you. Articles are fine, but people are better.
None of the yous were referring to you specifically three 😂
When I said that I will pass over articles, I meant see articles in my RSS and decide not to post them. I totally understand your frustration and exacerbation and ask for you to have a little patience. I will pin this so the process of posters being more picky about what they post is expedited a little.
This community is for all discussion about electric vehicles. Different posters will have different ideas as to what makes a good post. A lot of the time, I will pass over articles because I'm not particularly interested in any discussion they may spur nor do I think people particularly care. But other posters will have their own ideas. I think as things settle down, we'll see more personalities come through and everyone will rein themselves in a bit, but they need time to settle in and get comfortable.

The 4680 isn't a dud, but the whole industry is betting on solid state and investing a lot in that. If the 4680 finds success, that will divert money away from solid state. As things stand, the 4680 is barely good enough and Zeng clearly isn't taking any chances and wants to kill it in its cradle.
It's never okay to dead name. Even people you find despicable. Dead naming isn't about them, it's about you… like being polite to wait staff.

Mate, it's America, humanitarian rights issues is what the nation excels at.
America uses slave labour too. At every opportunity they've paid minimum wage and when workers started unionising, they started outsourcing to places they could get away with employing people for less than minimum wage. This is all well documented, just for some reason it's fine when America does it.
This. I've been hearing some media say that everyone has biases and the problem is he went on video with it, no mate, as a professional, you tamper them down. Imagine someone not being able to play their keeper against United because the keeper supported them as a kid and so doesn't try his best. That's insane.
