Aalborg Zoo asks for unwanted pets to feed its predators

Aalborg Zoo has asked for donations of live chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs, which it says are "gently euthanised" by trained staff.
The zoo also accepts donations of live horses - with owners able to benefit from a potential tax break.

The international press misleadingly reporting on this and people getting outraged by the misleading reporting is a very interesting phenomenon to watch.
- It's the good old "But I want to be upset!" - enhanced by our modern media.

a natural solution. Extremely natural. Just like it happens in nature when such critters encounter pets.
What's their plan after they run out of pets?
- thats what shelters are for. probably going to source free meat from overcrowded shelters.
- if you run out of free meat, then you must resume buying meat.
- A modern European country will never run out of unwanted pets.
- ...I mean, Denmark still has people, they're basically made out of meat.
