A clever enough person can get a useable general-purpose OS running on just about any hardware. The entire point is that it's user-friendly out of the box.

Well, not that shocked.

I popped my keyboard out of my Framework laptop for fun just to show my friends how easy it was.

I said "with a few button presses," not "after hacking it and booting from external media."

I found several rocks in one bag of beans, but I just complained to the store and got a refund.

None of those consoles would directly boot into desktop Linux with just a few button presses.

Having more money would let me retire earlier, which would make me happier.

But I'm lucky and already have all my other needs met.
