Women's weekend positivity... what makes you feel respected?
Respect is something we don't get enough of! What makes you feel respected? Any examples of times it's happened?

For me it's when people just listen to what I saw without judgement, take me seriously and value my input on things
Others asking us for our consent and respecting either yes or no before doing things, sexual or not, to our body (online and offline), or telling us things, trying to get us to do things etc.
You might not believe how common it is for people to just touch our body (or try to, we can be pretty quick) without asking us, across all genders or lacks thereof, or to just tell us things or talk around us with subjects that are triggering or we just don't want to hear, trying to get us to do things against our consent in general, pressuring us, judging us for doing things a certain way or certain things at all, or ignoring us when we tell them no, or coming up with excuses as to why they can't/won't do something which we explicitly ask for to avoid being harmed etc.
It is deeply upsetting to us that so many people cannot or will not care about basic consent, boundaries and limits, but it is rife throughout society. A lot of people assume, or run off of social scripts etc instead of just asking if things are okay to do or say etc or not.
