Can someone explain what is good about this show? I tried watching the first episode and it seemed boring.
I tend to go by the three episode rule. I found that episode 1 was pretty meh, but because I was watching it on a friend's recommendation, I stuck around to try to see what it was going for. If you gave it another go and still weren't feeling it a few episodes in, then it just might not be your cup of tea.
If 7 Fishes doesn't personally cause you to have a panic attack I don't know how any show can connect with you
That episode didn't resonant with me at all.
It’s just drama, it’s not for everyone.
I don’t really get it either. My partner watches it just for the chaos of the kitchen. He typically skips the other parts 🤷♀️
I find it interesting how the characters handle the major suicide that looms over the entire series.
I love the musical covers as well, and that one episode in season one that is entirely one shot.
It's a slow burn, but there are 2 episodes that are the absolute highlight of the series. It's S02E06 and S02E07. These are the reason why it was worth sticking around.
Season 3 showed that there is not much more to tell after that.
