This is a bigger deal than most people realize. Bringing academia to heel was a major component in the Nazi takeover of Germany, and it's nice to see that at least one institution here in the US isn't willing to roll over. (Granted, probably has more to do with their billion-dollar endowment than actual principle, but I'll take it.)
When the ear diaper disappears after a week, with no visible scar, it seems fake. The entire thing. From allowing a kid to fire off a shot to the photo op that advertised a moment.
Trump rails on everyone he thinks did the slightest wrong to him but hasn't said a WORD about the Butler shooter.
I thought aleverything was fishy as fuck with thr shooting, down to the timing of it when he was really falling behind in polls, to thr secret service keeping him on stage instead of IMMEDIATELY ushering him off stage, to the absolutely perfect propaganda shot. Now seeing it from this angle its just... wow. But why did it take so long for this video to come out?
Very interested
Is there any evidence to support this video? In a time of deep fakes and AI generated stuff, I can't trust much. Did a quick search and couldn't find any news sites discussing this.
The actions of the guards on stage, especially pushing over the Trump mic stand seem to match the other footage.
The physics of the woman pulling the photographers at the end matches too. The only thing that looks off is the security guard at 0:10 doing a weird hop
So far as I know, AI can only make like 10-second videos. This is much longer a continuous shot. Plus if you just look at the way the wind is blowing the cloth behind the barrier, the shadows are all correct as it bangs against it. I'm no forensics person but that seems pretty realistic to me.
