Me last night: I don't have much free time before my friend is coming over so I better cleanup some of the sprawling messes.
Also me: I've never taken the espresso machine apart to clean it before, so that should be my priority!
also if you remove the coffee cup, you suddenly realize how clean-cut the borders of the desk are and that distracts you too
also look at all this dust on the desk
this is inacceptable. i have to spend 15 minutes first cleaning the desk with soap. but when i did that, it's wet and i can't put anything there. so i have to cook food and eat first. but after that my tummy is fully and i have no energy left to think. 1 hour later ok let's do this. ok wait it only took 15 minutes to do all the homework.
Basically whole my life since 6 y.o. up until now. That is a reason why I hate any kind of homework, and especially working remotely — because it makes work essentially a homework.
"I have too much to do, so I'm going to take a nap." Galaxy brain logic there, self.

I have so much to do I'd better have a coffee
Slurp
I'm so tired I need a nap, but I'm too full of caffeine to take one
