Like The Noodle Incident, this is another comic which excels despite the punchline existing solely in the mind of the reader.

That first panel is just pure happiness, lovely. Exactly what is great about being a parent.

Also, this must be a relatively rare strip where Hobbes is there throughout, but not 'live'.
