I walk to the shops with robust cloth bags and it often happens that I'll have a bag with glass jars or cans or thicc 1L reusable juice bottles.
And yeah, the thought has crossed my mind that if someone were to threaten me, I'd just start flailing them. Would need to take care, though, so I don't accidentally kill them...

I drink instant coffee. Those jars are thicker than bullet proof glass. I would not want to be hit by one.
Good point, why are these instant coffee jars either the thickest, heaviest glass or flimsy plastic? Never in between.
And it's either a months worth, or two days. There's gotta be some serious science behind it all.
But the lids are so flimsy. I know one of these days that heavy glass is gonna become thin plastic.
