Kinda wish more developers would have the balls to make a fully realized piece of art and leave it at that. Most imitators of FromSoft do a really shit job of tying their game's difficulty to the themes of the story they're trying to tell, and just have hard difficulty for the sake of it.
I hope they retroactively patch Story Mode difficulty into everything FromSoft has ever produced, just to mess with the gooners❤️

How do the different difficulties work in Lies of P? Does it alter the boss' moveset? Less hp? Lower speed? The thing with over leveling which I dislike in the soulslike I've played is that you don't get to enjoy the fight, there is no challenge. So, I'd imagine there would have to be a careful re-balance that doesen't take away from the design of the encounter.
