The European Commission tried to gut the EU farm budget. Farmers, ministers and lobbyists fought back and won. But with funds shrinking, the pain is only delayed.

Less mass animal farms is a good thing. The meat and dairy industry gets subsidized way to much. It makes other healthy and climate conscious alternatives unable to compete in price. Lets hope the lobby loses next time.
