Aftershave: Elysian Soap Shop - El Dorado - Aftershave
2 passes. Face lather. Excellent shave.
This is another new coticule edge. Like yesterday's it is very comfortable and the result is very close. Unlike with Jnats, I always feel as if a coticule has more keenness that it can give. In my experience, I have yet to find one that does.

100 uses! And it still shaves like new, maybe even better than new. Tomorrow I'll use a Bolzano with my Blackland Era which is one of my favorite combos. After using this blade for a while I expect it to feel different, but perform about the same.
I've been using this blade since January 17th, 2025, which was 171 days ago. That means I've had 71 non-DE shaves since then, as I shave every day. I've done 40 straight razor shaves, so that leaves 31 shaves with a cartridge (while traveling for work). I haven't strayed from this DE blade or used any GEM razors in that time period.
I was giving a friend scent recommendations for Stirling yesterday and remembered about my Haverford sample. I absolutely love it and should get a tub.
I saw somewhere recently (perhaps on Discord?) that Rod is having trouble getting the materials to make it. If you want a tub, it might be a good idea to order soon.
Thanks! I never pictured myself "pushing" a blade this far because blades are cheap and it's not worth getting bad shaves just to claim you got 100 out of a blade... But here we are. This thing just kept going.
Post Shave: Catie's Bubbles - Top of the World - Aftershave
Started out with my Schick Injector, but it felt incredibly tuggy. Went with the 34C because it already had a blade in it. First use with a shave stick and it went pretty well. Monday is for Mike’s!
