Hmm, looks like this does include Dwarf Fortress. (KitFox is in Montreal, but Tarn Adams spent a couple decades working on it in Seattle)
Does it make sense to buy it on sale, if paying for a thing that I've played a ton of already is the point?
10 0 ReplyI wouldnt pay for anything full price.
5 0 ReplyNo, especially since the platform it's sold on is American.

Anyone know of any games in which the story takes place in Canada? The last (only) one I've played is honestly Cross Country Canada when I was like 7.
5 0 ReplyThe Long Dark.
4 0 ReplyOh wow, this is a beautiful-looking game. Thank you.

Great adventure title. Just finished it this past week with my wife.
3 0 ReplyWoa, you even type commands like in Cross Country Canada lol. I'll check this one out too. Maybe make my wife watch as well.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game.

...sold through an American company.
Why patronise Valve when GOG is right there?
5 0 ReplyWhat do you recommend on GoG?
3 0 ReplyI've found that GOG generally has around 40% of the games I like on Steam, so I use lists like this to find interesting ones and then check GOG if it's there so I can avoid paying Americans anything.
It doesn't always work. Steam's library is huge, but I'm doing my part for the whole #ElbowsUp thing, and for me, that means sending as little money their way as possible.
...and honestly, targeted sales like this make me think the boycott is properly hurting them.
