Serving strawberries in a sandwich might sound unusual in the UK, but it's nothing new in Japan.

That's fully a cake - but there's some quality bread-based meals lower down the article that I'd never heard of.
People looked at me weird for putting supernoodles or spaghetti hoops in a toastie, but now I find it has a name and it's an Australian delicacy.

2 0 ReplyI was trying to see if I have an old photo of one - I thought I had a photo of Supernoodles wrapped in pastry (like a sausage roll or pastie) but can't find it.
It's hard to find opportunity to make such avant-garde foodstuffs these days, as generally I have to make food to be shared with other people, who have higher standards.
