I'm happy for him and it's great that the Dodgers are helping him out like this, but the fact that it's necessary in the first place is fucking GROTESQUE.
Sooooo, a week ago the Dodgers refused ICE entry to the ballpark.
Now I see they continue to keep signed a player who hasn't played for 7 years, and lets be real, likely never will again. Just so he can continue to recieve the help he needs.
Ya know.....it's real hard to paint the Dodgers in the same camp as the Yankees and the Astros as being the villains of the MLB, when they keep putting good out into the world.
It's incredible that they are doing this for him. Schizophrenia is one of those disorders that is incredibly difficult to manage, because the person doesn't often recognize that there is something wrong and they need treatment.
It runs in my family, and can really be devastating without enough support.
I grew up absolutely hating the Yankees. As an adult I work sports broadcast and was working on a Yankees' show, they couldn't have been any nicer...it was really disappointing to see how nice they are.
Nope...still hate the entire state. ..."Fun" fact, if you're married and pregnant in Missouri, it is illegal to divorce your husband in the event of domestic violence.
