Have you watched Utena? This is basically the plot so I think you might enjoy it.
- Princess Tutu is a favorite of mine too! I'm surprised - it's not a very well known show but it's so creepy and unsettling while also being beautiful and wholesome. No other show I've seen has pulled that off, except maybe Madoka Magica.
