Just landed next to me.
  • I think this (Horse’s Paper Wasp) might be the guy. You could see them at a distance quite easily. They were fairly large. I realized only after your lovely post that it was a big and vague ask. Either way, bugs are wonderful and thanks for the share. Cheers!

  • Gangster
  • Jay, I love your style. I think this could work as a less is more type situation. I kind of had to do a double take to take in what was going on. Maybe as if the Feducci were the only idiots to think blind-folding ones self makes someone disappear. Then everyone is unamused with their antics. Not sure, it's cute though!

  • Just landed next to me.
  • Ah, these aren't the big chunkas I am talking about but maybe their distant cousins. I am not even sure how to describe the guys I am talking about. Gigantic though, they're pretty big. Around 5cm in length. Orange like too. Thanks for the website, the info is great and I am going to pass it on.

  • Injection Tips for the Needle Phobic
  • My ex solved this by tattooing the area he'd inject. Well, not solved, it's never solved. Just found a way to cope, like it seems you have as well. I think some people really hate hurting themselves. Needle pain is such a specific pain, because it's piercing. I am wondering if a simple addition could assist people as they need to self-administer medications. Something as simple as a translucent colored tip. I am not sure, it'd probably would not only fudge with the mechanics, but also add too much waste/cost. It's just that you are not alone in this. Plenty of people need to inject themselves regularly, and there's probably some simple solution that could assist in making these medical devices just as functional while being a little less intimidating in form.

Mind you, I know they're not toys.

  • Sometimes I feel like being this big, buff guy :D
  • Absolutely shameful confession that I love Yami Shibai. It's just so trashy. I love the songs, the illustrations, the horror. Perhaps in that order. It's awful, I love it so much. Mononoke is *my "high-brow" answer, which is one of my favorites as a whole, but jeez do I love Yami Shibai. I feel like I could sit with the first six episodes of The Woman Named Fujiko Miine forever, and kinda let the other six drift off into the abyss. Speaking of absolute nonsense, I love Bly-Manor but I like The Turn of the Screw in any form. Especially that somekindofdifferent 90s adaptation, it's got about 700% less gay however. Watching a couple of minutes of this drew me right in. There's just something about it, it casts a hypnotic spell to my brain-bin. Speaking of queer, at the intersection of that and wholesome (well...er...SU) I love Magical Girl Friendship Squad. Which is sort of is SU and Puppycat had a baby and BLAM - you get this.

    Toss more if you want!

  • Being a brown and skinny trans woman.
  • Right back at you! Very lovely response.

I understand your mom's madness. You gotta keep the rotation going with beans, or you could run out! Since they've gotta soak and what not. The best foods are the simplest, it's always that way! I've got a book that I use most days. It's got the ugliest cover that ever lived, but I don't really care about that. I just open the thing, pick the area I want to focus on and go. There is not one pretty thing about the whole process, but it gives me a physical tell which is actionable. I have some cork blocks, but the mat can suck eggs. Anything needing particular padding I use a throw for.

On the big sads, I think that the various internal/external adversities we can face as humans can cause a multitude of issues. To the point where you can solve one, and even if it was the "biggest" one or the one that caused the most pain you'll find your battle isn't over yet. While things are hard to find, I swear to you if you can find someone who you can work through these things with it helps a lot. It doesn't really have to be one person, if you can find a group it can be like...queer magic!

Don't forget to be kind to yourself. Incremental gains and patience are best practices. It helps keep you from getting overwhelmed and being able to manage your time and energy. As someone who goes from 0 to 100, it has been a painful gain but it's helped so much. GL sis, you're gunna be fine!
