Following the iran war events i made a provocative post at asklemmy@lemmy.ml and it got taken down. I can understand why they would not like that one but why banning people who were simply arguing their opinion?

Israel is being run by a literal maniac, is currently carrying out a genocide against Palestinians - and yet you are here condemning another of its victims. There was no evidence Iran was building a nuclear bomb and there were plenty of diplomatic options on the table. It's Iraq's WMDs v2.0.
