Bad analogy because razor blades don't hurt. I realize it is a common saying though.

Also I just had Covid and this time was milder than any cold. All I had was a mildly sore throat (been vaxxed 6 times though). Any of you had it recently?
- I'm gonna need a source for the claim that a razor blade in your throat wouldn't hurt
  
  The aftermath of a razor cut would hurt. Like any other cut. The pain experienced by the simple act of swallowing is more of a "saw throat".
  
  And I asked a friend who got Covid too. She mainly had a sore throat but it was mild like mine. Sample size of two isn't much.
