If you were notorious enough to be recognized by name as a DOGE staffer then just go job hunting in the red states or set up somewhere where nobody cares. If asked "what is this 5 month gap in your CV", they'll have better odds of landing the job by claiming they were in Jail than by admitting they were working for DOGE.
