What biscuits are must tries?

I live in the US and don't think I've ever had a UK style biscuit. What are the asbolutely must try brands/types?

  • Malted Milks!

If you're feeling adventurous, chocolate Malted Milks!

    • Are they similar to Royal Dansk butter cookies?

      • I'd say they have less snap than butter cookies, slightly denser, more akin to shortbread.

TIL there's a custard cream malted milk biscuit! I must now find them :)

        • I think I got them from Sainsburys. They are doing rhubarb and custard custard creams too.

          • I've not seen the rhubarb and custard ones. Mine has lemon meringue pie custard creams, and neopolitan ice cream bourbons. I think there's some hot cross bun custard creams(?) still hanging around from Easter. I was expecting those to have gone by now. They had some strawberry custard creams a couple of years ago, and I've been hoping they will return.

          • Nice! I shall investigate further!
