CoreCtrl app has entered maintenance mode with no new features coming
CoreCtrl is a popular Linux app designed to let you get more control over your GPU and CPU. Sadly, the creator has put it into maintenance mode with no new features coming.
Mentioned in the article, I use LACT. It's good
LACT is, unfortunately, built on the GTK framework instead of Qt or similar, so its a no go for me (too many input issues with modern GNOME apps on non-GNOME DEs and the general issues most people have with the GNOME team as a whole).
Is there a viable alternative for Nvidea cards?
LACT works just fine with my RTX 3080.

I can confirm that LACT allows me to clock multiple 3090s on bazzite and Tumbleweed.

Is it still actively maintained? It's also not working on Wayland fwiw.
I've switched to LACT, works way better and allows for better VRAM tune due to being able to mess with its power states.
Also on GNOME it can be properly minimised unlike CoreCTRL.
