Feature suggestion: Default comment sort in settings

It would be nice to be able to set the default comment sort (Hot, Top, New) in settings. A dropdown similar to the post sort setting would be ideal.

  • I say that quite regularly, but the comments view is the last thing that keep me on Lemmy

    • I just discovered that the default Lemmy UI doesn't have this setting either. But it's available in Voyager for Lemmy.

      • Ah, I misread your post, for some reason I thought Piefed was missing the comment sort options (it's not).

        What I really like in Lemmy is

        • Chat view to see new comments
        • (X New comments)
        • The comments view on its own
