A Democratic president would be facing impeachment votes at every opportunity regardless of what they did. The MAGA party (formerly the Republican party) is no longer a legitimate political movement in the confines of rules and norms. They are a rogue fascist element that seeks the seizure of total power as quickly as possible. They are at war with all of us and they are winning, in part because the mainstream refuses to act like we are at war.
The mainstream has been bought and paid for, the revolution will not be televised.

Reporters are just common workers like you and me, except, they have a ridiculously dangerous job that was so important that it was considered by Thomas Jefferson as the "fourth estate." The idea behind "democracy dies in darkness" was one born from class struggle, and I think we should see the removal of that slogan in that context.

The Onion's reporting is pretty consistrntly 5-10 years ahead of everyone else's. So if you go there now, you'll see stories like "U.S. Military Bans Men With Girl Names From Combat" and "State Department Designates WNBA As Terrorist Organization-" which probably won't show up in any other media until mid-way through Don Jr.'s second term.
