The two leaders were in Nancy to sign a bilateral treaty, aimed at strengthening defense ties in the wake of Russia aggression against Ukraine.

I watched it on youtube - not really into all that military stuff personally but I'm glad I saw it.
I don’t get it why D-day is celebrated but the Russian victory over Nazi Germany is not. It was a joint effort at the time.
- Celebrated in the US probably. Never seen it celebrated in the EU. I may be wrong though. And why people are now unhappy with Russia… well, read the room.
