Found these on my walk and was intrigued by their red colour

Next time trying to get a photo from below the cap to should help identifying the mushroom.
It allows to differentiate between gilled fungus and bolete and on top the shape and colour of the cap's lower side can give hints as well.
- True, but no way this is a bolete.
Very hard to tell from this picture. Wild guess would be some sort of Pluteus, but more angles / closeup of stem and gills would be needed to say with even a modicum of certainty.
